Toddler Girl Bedroom Ideas
Blog post description.
HOME/ORGANIZATION

When I started brainstorming ideas for my daughter's bedroom decor, I wanted to first think of the colors I wanted to incorporate. Instead of painting the whole room or painting an accent wall, I opted to use the chosen color for all the accessories, and everything else that I could use to embellish the room. I went with using white and shades of purple as the primary colors. At the time, my daughter was just 3 so I wanted to turn the other half of the bedroom into a play room and made sure I added her play kitchen and dollhouse.
I used furniture I already had which was a black full-size bed, night stand and a black dresser. I would have preferred getting white furniture but at the time I just worked with what I had without straining my budget.
To add touches of purple throughout the room, I purchased a purple bedsheet set and duvet cover. I also purchased some purple pillows. I also added an area rug that had shades of purple and white. I made to sure to measure the room and tried to cover as much surface area of the wooden floor with the area rug so that it would be safe area for my little one to play in.

One of the most fun and colorful element of the room was the stickers I used to decorate the wall. As seen in the picture above, I found wall stickers with shades of purple and white butterflies which seemed like the perfect fit for the color theme I was going with. I also purchased another set of stickers with purple colored polkadots and they also fit in perfectly. If you are decorating your child's room, I highly suggest that you look for stickers instead of painting. Children's likes and dislikes change constantly and for me painting a room was a much bigger commitment than just using peel off stickers. Amazon has a variety of option for stickers and you can make sure to choose ones that are safe for your wall. As for the finishing touches, I bought some frames and accessories that tie well in with the purple/white theme. Just to give you an idea, these are some of the things I incorporated: purple lamp, purple alarm clock, White unicorn piggy bank, purple tulips in a white vase. If you need any more ideas or have any questions, feel free to reach out. If interested, I can do another blog post linking all the products that I purchased, from the duvet covers to the carpet and everything in between.
Enjoy!
