Organizing Your Toddler's Clothes

Tips and Tricks:

1) Categorizing and designating items to each drawer. I used boxes with dividers to separate the items. The first drawer consists of the pants and shirts. I further categorize the shirts into 2 categories: half sleeve shirts and full sleeve shirts. For the second drawer I used the divider box again to store all the towels, blankets, bodysuits, and socks. The third and the smallest drawer stores all the pj sets. I make sure to keep the matching pants/shirts together so that I can quickly grab during the bedtime chaos.

I used the light blue box as shown above to separate the items. This box can be purchased on Amazon or from ikea. It retails for a very reasonable price.

2) Folding clothes in a symmetric way so that you can store clothes in the style shown above instead of stacking things. Stacking shirts or pants on top of another usually results in not finding the correct item, or forgetting they even exist and you then tend to repeat the same item of clothing many times.

I hope these tips were helpful. Although they may be simple, they can be really helpful if you make it a habit to implement them.

Enjoy!

It's hard enough to keep a float and keep your things organized, let alone managing your toddler's clothes. My little one co-sleeps with me and doesn't have a designated room. For this reason, I keep all his clothes in my bedroom dresser for easy accessibility. I have a 7 drawer dresser, of which I have designated three drawers to storing his everyday clothes. The two big drawers consist of his everyday clothes, towels and socks, while one of the smaller one has all his pajamas. Categorizing not only makes things easier to find, but also makes the process of putting back freshly washed laundry a tad bit easier. Here are some tips and tricks that help me keep things tidy!
